Privacy policy

This policy follows Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). It explains what happens to information about you when you read Province Casinos.

Who is responsible

Province Casinos is responsible for the information described here. Questions and requests go to hello@provincecasinos.com.

What we collect, and what we don’t

  • No accounts, forms, newsletters or comments. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
  • No cookies and no analytics or advertising tags. We don’t use Google Analytics, tag managers or tracking pixels.
  • Your province choice stays in your own browser’s local storage so the page remembers it. It is never sent to us, and you can clear it by clearing site data.
  • Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, records technical data for every request: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
  • Search data. Google Search Console shows us which searches led to the site, in aggregate. It doesn’t identify you.

When you click a button that leads to a casino, our host looks up the province your IP address points to. We use it for one purpose: to send visitors from Ontario to our Ontario page instead of to a casino that isn’t registered there. The result isn’t stored by us or used for anything else. This is the only place the site uses any technology to locate a visitor, and it doesn’t identify or profile you.

Who else handles data

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and holds its server logs.
  • Google receives the search data behind Search Console.
  • Casinos: when you follow a button, you leave our site. What the casino then collects is covered by its own privacy policy.

We don’t sell or rent information to anyone.

How long it’s kept

We keep nothing ourselves. Server logs and Search Console data are kept for the periods set by Cloudflare and Google.

Your rights

You can ask what information about you we hold, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. Write to hello@provincecasinos.com and we’ll answer within 30 days. If you aren’t satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
