About Province Casinos
Province Casinos is a catalogue of online casinos that take Canadian players. It answers one question before any other: when you ask for your money back, what does the casino say will happen, and how long does it say it will take?
Why the cashier comes first
Most casino lists in Canada are sorted by the size of the welcome bonus. A bonus is the part of an offer you can’t withdraw until you meet its terms, so it says little about the casino. The cashier page says more: the minimum deposit, the methods that work from a Canadian bank, how long a withdrawal sits in “pending”, and when the casino asks for ID.
So every casino here has the same short record: minimum deposit, Canadian payment methods, the withdrawal times it publishes, the minimum withdrawal, when verification starts and the licence printed in its own footer. Each number links to the page it came from, with the date we read it.
What we don’t do
We don’t run a casino, take deposits or hold player accounts. We don’t publish player reviews, star ratings or “players online” counters: we can’t verify them. We don’t write that a casino is legal in Canada. Only Ontario and Alberta license online casinos themselves, and the sites in our ranking hold foreign licences, which we quote as printed.
We have not yet made our own deposits and timed withdrawals from a Canadian bank account. Until we do, payout times on this site are the times each casino publishes, and every page says so next to the number.
How the site is paid for
Some casinos in the ranking have an affiliate program that accepts Canadian websites. When you open an account through our link, the program may pay us a commission. That is the only money the site earns. It doesn’t change the checks, the scores or the order of the list; the full rules are on the affiliate disclosure page.
We don’t rank a casino when its affiliate program has unresolved non-payment reports from other affiliates, or when we couldn’t check it. Those casinos stay in the catalogue with their facts and a link, but without a score or a place in the ranking. The reasons are on how we rate.
Provinces
Canada is not one gambling market. Ontario and Alberta run regulated online markets, every other province runs its own provincial site, and the legal age is 19 except in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec, where it’s 18. Pick your province at the top of any page and the site shows its age limit and help line. In Ontario our links to casinos are switched off; the Ontario page explains why.
Who writes it
The catalogue is edited by Nate Friesen, who reads the cashier pages and terms behind every entry. Corrections and questions go to the address on the contact page. We aim to answer within a week and to fix confirmed errors promptly.
